China National Petroleum Company Selects ESS Software
China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) selected ESS enterprise software as its integrated information management platform for business sustainability and compliance across the companys global operations.
CNPC will implement ESS software at facilities throughout China. The system will support upstream and downstream oil and gas, oilfield services, engineering and construction, petroleum material and equipment manufacturing and supply operations.
The ESS platform, which was translated into Mandarin for use in China, includes a solutions to support CNPC corporate initiatives for multimedia emissions control, including greenhouse gas and carbon management, health and safety incident mitigation and prevention, EH&S performance management and emergency planning/response management.
Online Lifestyle Magazine CHIC.TV selects CacheLogic
Lifestyle media and technology provider CHIC.TV selected CacheLogic to deliver Internet video streaming services.
CacheLogics Velocix Video delivery service is used to provide on-demand access to CHIC.TVs video lifestyle magazine.

Lockheed Martin Selects Sandia's Jess 7.1a3 Rule Engine
Lockheed Martin Corp. licensed Jess 7.1a3, a rule engine created by Sandia National Laboratories, to play a critical role in the Navys DDG 1000 destroyer ships.
Jess was licensed by Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training & Support (STS), a business unit within the companys electronics systems business area. STS develops logistics solutions, military training and simulation producing air, ground and maritime systems for its customers.
According to Greg Harrison, a Lockheed systems engineer, the company chose Jess after extensive and multiple trade studies confirmed the softwares ability to interface with the information in the DDG 1000 knowledgebase. I feel confident that we made the right choice with Jess, said Harrison.
Swiss Selects Appian to Support Workflow Needs
Swiss Reinsurance Company selected Appians BPM Software Suite to manage workflow requirements.
Following an initial pilot phase, Swiss plans to use Appian Enterprise to manage mission-critical operational processes globally within the business.
Appian offered us a mature, stable, easy-to-use and rich BPM platform. Its workflow capabilities will be our primary focus. The Appian product perfectly integrates into our existing product landscape, said Sami Hassanein, director of EBPM platforms at Swiss Re. Vhi Healthcare Selects Siperian MDM Hub
Vhi Healthcare, Irelands largest provider of private medical insurance, selected Siperian, Inc. to provide real-time views of its customers, insurance product offerings and relationships.
Siperian MDM Hub will be used to better understand the information requirements of the companys 1.57 million members and to deliver improved customer service, preventative healthcare information and insurance offerings.
