Graco Selects Noetix to Streamline BI Reporting
Graco selected Noetix to streamline its BI reporting in order to speed the delivery of corporate information to business professionals across the organization.
Minnesota-based Graco recently initiated an Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation that will consolidate 12 worldwide factories and office locations under one ERP system.
Traditionally, it has taken our information security (IS) group several days to develop a report requested by one of Gracos approximately 150 business users, because the data was dispersed throughout different ERP systems across the company, said Gary Gasperini, director of worldwide strategic sourcing for Graco. Using Noetix, our IS team predicts it will be able to respond to the same type of reporting requests in minutes rather than days.

Childrens Hospital of Omaha Uses ActiveBatch
Childrens Hospital in Omaha, a full-service pediatric health care center in Nebraska, selected Advanced Systems Concepts' (ASCI) ActiveBatch to manage the hospitals automated job scheduling tasks.
As the key application responsible for Childrens Hospitals data warehouse management, ActiveBatch now plays a role in updating and maintaining major data repository at the hospital.
Until now, most of our processing tasks have been accomplished through a combination of manual operations and internally-generated scripts, said Allana Cummings, vice president and chief information officer of Childrens Hospital. We realized that automation would significantly increase the availability and value of our various data stores. ActiveBatch has the power and flexibility to accomplish all these tasks, and it can do so on a daily, even real-time, basis.
