Do you have a roadmap, preferably pictorial, to develop a data strategy or an online document that I can reference?

Question: Do you have a roadmap, preferably pictorial, to develop a data strategy or an online document that I can reference?

Sid Adelman's Answer: My shameless and self-serving answer is the book entitled Data Strategy by Sid Adelman, Larissa Moss and Majid Abai.

Majid Abai's Answer: I have not come across an online pictorial roadmap depicting the steps associated to "data strategy" for an organization. The reason for it might be that strategies are different depending on the organization, its requirements, priorities, time frames and financial and human resources. There are some certain steps that we generally follow and certain areas that we cover, but the order of these steps and emphasis on each step is directly associated with the above parameters. In short, information strategy for each organization could only be customized for that organizations particular needs and capabilities.
